Burton Mere and Parkgate - 1st January
A nice clear sunny New Year's Day with an all day trip to Burton Mere Wetlands in the morning and Neston/Parkgate in the afternoon. Lots of common birds with great photo opportunities in the excellent light. A Sort-eared Owl appeared at Old Baths Parkgate in the fading light.
