Malling Down - 7th June
A quick trip to Malling Down which overlooks Lewes in East Sussex. The chalk slopes are very steep which makes for some good walking. Plenty of Common Spotted Orchids and several Adonis Blues flying around and an attractive Red Admiral. Unfortunately I failed to find any Fragrant Orchids which are supposed to be here.
