At
last after much searching my first Green Hairstreaks (2) of the year at HP in
their usual place by the bushes to the east of the wood. Also my first Wall
butterfly of 2021 posing on a buttercup. Dingy Skipper numbers are increasing
and a single Grizzled Skipper. In the afternoon a quick trip to Abbotts Wood in
search of Pearl Bordered Fritillaries resulted in two being seen but no photos
unfortunately although I did manage to snap a Red Admiral and male Orange Tip.
